Amazing Rare and Vintage Totem Pole: 18.75" high x 2.75 widest x 6 " deep (front to back). Highly and artistically carved and painted by hand (1930-40). Slight loss of paint9 rebs to protruding beaks). Beak of white bird (photo 4) has a clean break and old repair (painted). Does not detract from this stellar fine piece of Native artisty. Rare size and detail. Fresh from a collector's estate in Sonoma County. Will be a highlight of any fine collection.

Old real photo postcard- Kodiak Alaska waterfront. Stamp has been removed. Date is stamped on the back; May 31, 1916. Good condition with an ink stain on the front right. Sender wrote on the back that the population of Kodiak at that time was 400.

carolynn Store Real photo postcard Wreck of SS Mariposa, Alaska. The Mariposa hit a reef on Strait Island, near Pt. Baker (Mariposa Reef) on 1917-11-18. It struck the reef while carrying 269 passengers and a full cargo of copper ore and canned salmon. The vessel had previously picked up the crew from the wrecked Al-Ki and the pirates from the wrecked Manhattan. All passengers and crew were rescued before it sank, by the CuraÃ§ao, Ravalli, and Jefferson. She went down with 25,000 cases of salmon and 1,200 tons of copper ore. Reef is now called Mariposa Reef. Clear sharp image in excellent condition, not used postally. AZO stampbox (1918-1930). Standard flat rate shipping within the US and Canada is $1.50. Other countries is $3.50.
