E Signe S Si Frances Brundage, not signed, very hard to find series of Decoration Day cards published by Gabriel #150, cross hatched border did not wear well so cards in near EXCELLENT condition are very difficult to find, gorgeous little girl with long curls in hair tied with blue ribbon bow looks up at old vet in uniform wearing glasses with a long white beard, boy in sailor blouse looks down at flag, "Brave minds, howe'er at war, are secret friends, Their generous discord with the battle ends.", highly embossed, d/b, mailed 1914, corner creases lower, nick in upper border near left corner, slight corner and edge surface wear, tiny tear center top border, VERY GOOD. GREEN FRAME IS NOT A PART OF ANY OF THE CARDS I LIST ______________________________________________________________________________________ VINTAGE CARDS ARE MY SPECIALTY All post cards are the usual 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches unless otherwise specified. It is very important to me that you receive your package promptly and in excellent condition. Your card is first placed inside a plastic slip for cards and then inside a stiff plastic holder which is then in turn wrapped in a plastic bag so that it is waterproof. This is then put with a mailing slip from Pay Pal folded over it inside a white cardboard mailer which is just shy of being hard as a board, it has some slight give to it, and is made to seal up very tightly and open easily with a pull tab. I usually mail from my mailbox the day I receive your payment from PayPal. When you receive your card is it so easy to open without any worry that the card inside will be damaged by your attempts to open the package. A card arrived the other day in my mail in a bubble mailer the worst and then wrapped in taped tissue paper and I handled it with extreme care lest I damage corners or tear it. Payments by check are PREFERRED or Paypal which is quicker than any other method of payment in American dollars. Please do not send cash in mail unless you register it. ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED TO BE AS DESCRIBED OR YOUR MONEY BACK PLUS YOUR ORIGINAL POSTAGE PAID. POSTAGE TO THE UNITED STATES FOR FOUR CARDS OR LESS IS $2.00, HAVE HAD TO RAISE POSTAGE RATES TO COVER COSTS OF SUPPLIES. POSTAGE TO UK, EUROPE, ASIA, AUSTRALIA IS $3.00 FOR UP TO FOUR CARDS. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR CARD ONCE IT HAS BEEN MAILED. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING, BIDDING AND WINNING MY AUCTIONS GOD BLESS AMERICA ________________________________________________________________________

This auction is for one of the most beautiful postcards I have ever seen. This postcard was published by the Detroit Publishing Co. with a date of 1907. It is one of a series of Fantasy cards done by Samuel L. Schmucker. The series is the " Butterfly Series or Woman ... Some Reasons Why The Butterfly Doth Woman ". This card is titled " Inconstancy " and shows a girl in red with large wings . Condition of this card is excellent. This is one of 6 cards that were framed in a long frame a long time ago . The cards were hinged onto the frame with brown paper. I was very happy to see that the cards were not cut at all when I removed frame back. Backs of all cards have a line of brown paper near edge . This does not affect the front at all. Card is clean - corners are sharp - colors are bright and beautiful . Card is postally unused with no writing. I have all 6 cards in the series listed and I will combine shipping. Card is guaranteed an old card NOT a reproduction. Please email any questions. I will combine shipping. Satisfaction guaranteed.
