You are bidding on a unique Easter Greetings postcard that has an embossed floral wreath in blues, violets and pink. It is a glossy satiny look. There is no indication of a publisher and it is a postally unused postcard. There is correspondence on the backside and it is dated March 4, 1909. The postcard is in great condition with little or no edge wear to speak of. If you have any questions about this item please don't hesitate to contact me. A collection of 11 old Easter greeting cards from Sweden and Finland. Almost all have stamps and postmarks from Finland, dating from the 30's.- 40's. . They are absolutely gorgeous cards. The card with the cute solider boy is from the Sotapoika series (soldier boy series). The card with boy playing an accoridion is from the series SISU and the funds from selling this card goes to helping evacuated refuges. Obviously these cards are from the second world war era.

This nice early 1900's Vintage Lot of 4 Easter postcards. Description, sizes and condition are as follows: 1) GLAD EASTER TIDINGS This card measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". This embossed card has a lovely pastural scene with bells at top, flower spray and gold boarder with a matt finish. It reads on the front; "Glad Easter Tidings." The card is postmarked and has a postage stamp. The card shows it's age well with no major damage, just some aging of the paper, slight corner wear and a few dark marks on the front of the card. It does have some writting on the back as correspondence and in adress box. 2) EASTER GREETINGS This card measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". This embossed card has a lovely pastural scene in a gold boarder, floral spray and gold boarder with a matt finish It reads on the front; "Easter Greetings." The card has no postmarked or postage stamp. The card shows it's age well with no major damage, just some aging of the paper, slight corner wear with a few dents to corners. It has no writting on the back as correspondence or in adress box. 3) THE LORD IS RISEN This card measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". It has a large pale green egg surrounder by tiny blue flowers (for-get-me-nots) with a marble like grey back ground. It reads on the front; "The Lord is Risen." The card has no postmark and has a postage stamp which has been torn. The card shows it's age well with no major damage, just some aging of the paper, corner wear, and the torn stamp. It does have some writting on the back as correspondence and in adress box. Marked on the back; "Printed in Germany". 4) PEACEFUL EASTER TO YOU This card measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". It has a lovely textured silver back gournd with a golden Cross surrounded by panies. It reads on the front; "Peaceful Easter to you." The card has a postmarked 1909 and a postage stamp. The card shows it's age well with no major damage, just some aging of the paper, slight corner wear with a few dents. It has writting on the back as correspondence or in adress box. Card is Marked on back: " Printed in Germany". I have taken pictures with and without flash to show details.
