Better bid now so you won't forget. Why not buy yourself a present "The Budweiser, Cal B. Hagar, Prop, Boonville, Mo." This postcard is not used, probably from around 1910. Nice old saloon interior with spittoons beside the bar. I don't think this is a common postcard. Normal minor corner wear, otherwise good condition. Please see the scan. If there is a pattern on the scan it is a figment of my scanner's imagination, not on the card. Buyer to pay $1.00 P&H please. Missouri buyer please pay 7.925% sales tax. Non-U.S. buyers please pay with Paypal and pay $2.00 P&H. I combine shipping if a bidder buys more than one card. Please email me if you have any questions. I leave positive feedback for those who get payment to me within 10 days of my payment request. Please do not bid if your email ID is not correct on ebay, or if you have a spam filter set which will prevent you from receiving my email payment requests. Please see my ebay store for other interesting postcards. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.

Check out my other items! Album full of OLD Postcards Some used, some unused I know there are 60 old postcards here, because there are 60 slots; however, the breakdown that follows is probably 95% accurate; (17) City Street Scenes; 6 used DB, 10 unused DB, and 1Used UDB (10) Bridges; 3 used DB, 7 unused DB (9) Schools (incl High School); 2 used DB, 1 unused DB, i usused UND, 5 used UDB (4) Jefferson Barracks; 1 used DB; 3 unused DB (4) Neighborhood; 2 used DB, 1 used UDB, i unusedUDB (16)Buildings; 7 DB unused, 6 used DB,7 unused DB, 3 unused UDB Condition: all items VG to NF. If you are not in the United States, I will contact you, through eBay, with the correct total, including shipping. I will not close an auction early to facilitate a private sale (this includes adding a Buy It Now option). To protect legitimate bidders, I reserve the right to cancel any bid, prior to or after closing time, if the person’s feedback rating and/or comments suggests the bid may be frivolous or “playful”. Please Note: I will be unable to mail between Oct 23 and Oct 26. I will mail as soon as possible thereafter. I apologize for the delay. Better bid now so you won't forget!! Why not buy yourself a present?? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Presidents fleet going down the Miss." This real photo postcard is used and postmarked weakly from Commerce, 1c stamp. It was sent to Miss Martha Lewelling, High Hill, MO. The message includes, "We are at Commerce at present, don't know when we will get home." I assume this armada is President Theodore Roosevelt's party which floated the Mississippi in early October, 1907, ending up at Memphis on the 4th. I don't know how long the trip was but I've seen a card of Roosevelt's steamboat at Quincy, Illinois so he started at Quincy or above. Must have been an impressive sight, there are at least 8 steamboats in the image. Normal minor wear, otherwise good condition, clear image. Please see the scan. U.S. buyer to pay 1.25 P&H please, which includes shipping in a rigid sleeve. Non-U.S. buyers please pay with Paypal and pay $2.25 P&H. Missouri buyer please pay 7.325% sales tax. Please visit my Ebay Store for other interesting postcards. For real photo cards go to the store and click on Postcards at left and then on Postcards>US>RPPC. RARE LEMP BEER TAP HANDLE ST. LOUIS MO. By the early 1870's, Lemp's Western Brewery was the largest brewery in St. Louis in a field of 30, with E. Anheuser & Company's Bavarian Brewery coming in second. The brewery was the 19th largest in the country, producing 61,000 barrels in 1876. A bottling plant was added the following year. By the end of the decade, William Lemp, Sr. had risen to vice-president of the United States Brewer's Association in addition to having overseen the tremendous expansion of the brewery. In fact, Lemp was the first brewery to establish coast-to-coast distribution of its beers. Lemp beer was being transported in some 500 refrigerated railroad cars, averaging 10,000 shipments per year.
