Nest to the man is an alarm bell on a wood support structure. Brief message on back is simply "Hardin fire department". Grain elevators are visible at left; the train depot is at center, and part of the town of Geraldine is at the right. Geraldine is a small town in northcentral Montana, east of Fort Benton, and not far from Square Butte. It takes a good magnifying glass, but you can read GERALDINE on the side of the depot in the center background. Photographer is not indicated. Postally unused; AZO stampbox with all four corner arrows pointing up; circa 1912. In near very good condition with some corner and edge wear.
