Up for auction are 14 different real photo postcards from the 1950s, 13 showing sights in Saigon, one in Phompenh. All of the cards have scalloped edges, all are postally unused, in very nice condition, no creases or tears. Cards include a view of the Marche with a large portrait of Ngo Dinh Diem, Boulevard Charner (2 different), the harbor/port, the P.T.T. building, Jardin Botanique, Theatre Municipal, etc. Views also include street scenes of shoppers, flower market, water oxen, fishing, bicycle taxi, fruit vendor, etc. The Phompenh card shows the Pagode d'Argent. The 3 non-RPPC postcards are: An Igorot blacksmith in Benguet. A group of Negritos, including topless women. Hemp Plants in Mindoro. Postcards were not mailed, though some have writing on the back.
