This historica postcard from 1911 shows photos of team members in their NY hats. Walter Johnson, Ford, Caldwell, Roach, Pries, Lynch, Cree, Quinn and other are shown. Manager Hal Chase is larger than the players and full figured at the center of the card and wearing a kilt. There are a few creases, corner crease and the back is slightly brown and the name in pencil L D Meyer Jr., Lindenhurst is written on the back. Card is in vg cond. 1941 Kentucky Derby Horse racing program. The 1941 Kentucky Derby had a 11 horse field and was won by WHIRLAWAY ridden by Eddie Arcaro. This program is fresh and was never folded and has VERY LIGHT MARKINGS in pencil on the Derby Race and original staples that show a bit of rust. This program at one time had a small price sticker on the front cover that lifted some surface paper and the letter KE on Derby at the top - see second scan close-up. Probably quite readily restorable if you have a paper conservator in your area. A nice clean program. Sells as is - bid what you want!!!
