- I'd pay particular attention to the trains not running out of track! CAVEAT: This is a PayPal only auction. I request immediate payment in a form I can transfer to my bank account right away. Thanks for your consideration and cooperation. Great early 20th century black and white postcard of a setting along the lines of this older railroad. Scene depicts a train of the Crystal River & San Juan Railroad at Marble, Colorado on the route in April, 1907 - with a mile of track for sidings owned by the Colorado-Yule Marble Company, in the foreground. Way Car (an older term for caboose) 01 is in the back of the train. Looks like an old type intersection marker on the right. Great detail and tones, photo and production work. Extremely rare, I believe. A find for Crystal River Valley/Gunnison County/Crystal River & San Juan/Railroad/ Mining and Colorado History collectors! Fair condition, with occasional moderate edge/corner wear and multiple bends/creases as well as fading/browning/printing anomalies with soiling/stains and postal ink/stamp adhesive bleed. Refer to scans for condition; sold as is. Not as brown as it appears; had to scan in color to show browning, stamp, stains, etc.. Divided back, posted July 11, 1907 from Kansas City, Missouri Station A to Joplin in the same state. Images brighter and clearer than scans.

- Here we are now going to the South Side. CAVEAT: This is a PayPal only auction. I request immediate payment in a form I can transfer to my bank account right away. Thanks for your consideration and cooperation. Great early 20th century black and white postcard of a setting along the lines of this older railroad. Scene depicts a view of the DNW&P depot at Steamboat Springs, Colorado on the route, looking to the south across the Yampa River. The building was designed by Denver architect Frank Edbrooke - famous for his designs of the Brown Palace and Oxford Hotels, Masonic Temple, Denver Dry Building, etc.. Depot closed in 1968 with the end of D&RGW service to the town. Great detail and tones, photo and production work. Quite rare, I believe. A find for Routt County/Moffat Road/Denver, Northwestern & Pacific/Railroad/Architecture and Colorado History collectors! Fairly good condition, with slight corner wear/bends and printing anomalies/soiling as well as occasional browning/solarization with bow/ink transfer and faint postmark/isolated stains. Refer to scan for condition; sold as is. Not as brown as it appears; had to scan in color to show browning, stain, stamp, etc.. Divided back, posted September 29, 1910 from Columbine, Colorado to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Images brighter and clearer than scans.
