Scene depicts a train of the Crystal River & San Juan Railroad at Marble, Colorado on the route in April, 1907 - with a mile of track for sidings owned by the Colorado-Yule Marble Company, in the foreground. Way Car (an older term for caboose) 01 is in the back of the train. Looks like an old type intersection marker on the right. Great detail and tones, photo and production work. The building was designed by Denver architect Frank Edbrooke - famous for his designs of the Brown Palace and Oxford Hotels, Masonic Temple, Denver Dry Building, etc.. Depot closed in 1968 with the end of D&RGW service to the town. Great detail and tones, photo and production work. Quite rare, I believe. A find for Routt County/Moffat Road/Denver, Northwestern & Pacific/Railroad/Architecture and Colorado History collectors!
